Flats for Sale in Chittagong
Chittagong — officially Chattogram since 2018, though the older spelling is still what most people type — is the country's second city and its main port. The flat market is smaller and considerably cheaper than Dhaka's, and it is concentrated in a handful of neighbourhoods rather than spread across the whole city.
Khulshi and Nasirabad carry the premium addresses, much of it built for families connected to the port, the shipping trade and the universities. Panchlaish and the GEC area are the dense residential middle of the market. Agrabad is the commercial district and has flats above and around the offices.
The city's terrain matters here in a way it does not in Dhaka. Chittagong is hilly, and hill-cutting is regulated; a building on or below a cut slope is worth asking specific questions about. Flooding and waterlogging in the low-lying parts of the city are also worth checking against the monsoon rather than the dry season.
